Perry picks three EMAs looks

Katy Perry showed off three contrasting looks at yesterday’s MTV Europe Music Awards.

Katy Perry went from demure to racy at the MTV Europe Music Awards last night.

The star has never been afraid of making a fashion statement and her appearance at the event in Amsterdam was no different.

While walking the red carpet at the Ziggo Dome, Katy wore a skin-tight mint green Zac Posen dress, which featured a high neck and was cut to just under the knee.

The midi gown was sexed up thanks to its silky material, which clung to the 29-year-old’s curves.

To finish the girly look off with a ladylike touch, the Roar singer added a jewelled Dolce & Gabbana headband and peach Charlotte Olympia shoes.

As well as winning in the style stakes, Katy took home the coveted Best Female Act prize last night, beating the likes of Taylor Swift, Selena Gomez, Miley Cyrus and Lady Gaga.

To show her gong off in the press room afterwards, Katy slipped into a daring black dress with netted panels at the arms and on the skirt.

The cleavage-baring number was finished off with heavy gold chains from Chanel and black high-heeled shoes with ankle straps, which was a far cry from Katy’s earlier dress.

Not content with two looks, the brunette also sported a third outfit for her performance of new track Unconditionally.

Katy slipped into a bejewelled bodysuit as she belted out the emotional song.

Also making waves on the red carpet was controversial popstar Miley Cyrus.

The 20-year-old picked a tiny mini dress for the occasion, emblazoned with the faces of late rappers Tupac and The Notorious B.I.G.

Knee-high boots finished off her look and proved almost as shocking as her seemingly lighting up a marijuana cigarette while on stage.

British star Rita Ora and Australian songstress Iggy Azalea picked strikingly similar outfits for the awards show.

Rita, 22, and Iggy both wore black gowns featuring slits up the side.

While Rita’s was low cut with a backless finish and thigh-high slit, Iggy’s dress covered up her chest with a one-shoulder design but flashed more of her leg with two, much higher, splits.
